Paediatric Occupational Therapist | 4-Day Week Option | Clinic-Based

Winston Hills, New South Wales

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $100,001 - $120,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Our client is an established multidisciplinary allied health provider in Baulkham Hills, supporting children and families through a whole-child, family-centred approach.

The clinic has been operating since 2017 and brings together Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Exercise Physiologists and Therapy Assistants. With around 20 clinicians and support staff, the team works collaboratively around shared goals, with many children accessing multiple disciplines.

The service has a strong focus on autism, neurodiversity-affirming practice and meaningful outcomes for children and families.

About the Role

This is a clinic-based Occupational Therapist role supporting a paediatric caseload.

Your week may include:

  • Clinic-based Occupational Therapy within a dedicated therapy environment
  • Supporting children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, intellectual disability and other developmental presentations
  • Working collaboratively with Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Exercise Physiologists and other clinicians
  • Shared goal setting and coordinated intervention for children accessing multiple services
  • Therapy within a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed framework
  • Access to a dedicated sensory gym and broader social connection programs
  • A fully clinic-based model, reducing the need for regular travel between appointments
  • Opportunities to contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary environment
You will be supported by established clinical leadership, including an experienced OT Team Leader and broader senior leadership across the business.

Why this Role

This role would suit an OT who wants a predominantly paediatric autism caseload while having regular access to other allied health disciplines around them.

You will have access to:
  • An established multidisciplinary team of approximately 20 staff
  • Discipline-specific OT leadership and support from an experienced OT Team Captain
  • Regular professional development and collaborative learning opportunities
  • Weekly ongoing education and team PD activities
  • Supervision, mentoring and coaching support
  • A dedicated sensory gym and purpose-built therapy environment
  • Strong internal clinical networks across OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology and Exercise Physiology
  • An established referral base and integrated model of care
  • Flexible scheduling options, with a 4-day work week available
  • Optional WFH days where appropriate to the role
  • A structured 12-month early career support program for new graduate clinicians
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum 1 year postgraduate experience
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience supporting children with autism or other developmental presentations
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary from $90,000 - $115,000 + Super
  • Supervision, mentoring and coaching support
  • Ongoing team professional development and education
  • Flexible scheduling options
  • 4-day work week option
  • Optional WFH days where appropriate
  • Self-care leave
  • 12-month early career support program for new graduates
  • Dedicated sensory gym and multidisciplinary clinical environment
What’s on Offer

If you are looking for a paediatric OT environment where autism-focused practice, multidisciplinary collaboration and clinical development are genuinely part of the day-to-day culture, this role is worth a conversation.

You will be joining an established team where clinicians can work alongside other disciplines, share perspectives and contribute to coordinated outcomes for children and families.
