Description
Our client is an established, clinician-run multidisciplinary allied health provider with more than 15 years of experience supporting children, families and communities. The organisation has built a strong reputation for evidence-based allied health services, with a particular strength in diagnostic assessment and paediatric care.
Creating an environment where clinicians can access regular supervision, informal support and genuine opportunities to develop their clinical interests.
About the Role
This is a paediatric Occupational Therapist position supporting a predominantly NDIS-funded caseload across clinic-based services.
Your week may include:
- Predominantly paediatric clients with neurodivergence, autism, ADHD and developmental needs
- Sensory processing and feeding presentations
- Exposure to complex developmental and functional needs
- A mix of clients from multicultural and lower socioeconomic communities
- Some exposure to out-of-home care
- Predominantly individual, 45-minute face-to-face sessions
- Opportunity to develop adult caseloads if this is an area of clinical interest
- Community referrals through schools and preschools for clinicians interested in community-based work
- Telehealth options where clinically appropriate
- A structured Canberra caseload, with afternoons generally concentrated across Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and mornings on other days
- Minimum four days per week
- Hybrid administration, with clinicians only required onsite for client-facing work
During the first 90 days, your Team Leader will help plan sessions, with clinicians able to modify and build their schedules as they become comfortable.
Why this Role

You will have access to:
- Weekly individual and group supervision
- Weekly discipline-specific meetings and broader company meetings
- Regular shadowing and in-session support from senior clinicians and management
- Weekly professional development, case analysis and discipline-specific learning
- External PD opportunities, including paid time for relevant courses where appropriate

- Career development conversations throughout the year
- Gradual exposure to assessment work, with support for analysis
- Extensive assessment templates and resources
- An additional $200 payment for completed assessments
- Flexible administration arrangements, including the option to complete admin remotely
- A clinician-run and clinician-led organisation with accessible senior clinicians and managers
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Paediatric Occupational Therapy experience or genuine interest in developing a paediatric caseload
- Experience or interest in working with neurodivergent children and developmental presentations
- Comfortable working across different clinical modalities
- Available to work a minimum of four days per week and interested in a long-term Canberra position
- $80,000 - $115,000 + Super
- Weekly individual and group supervision
- Structured 90-day onboarding and reduced initial caseload
- Weekly discipline-specific PD and case analysis
- External professional development opportunities
- Paid time for approved external PD where applicable
- Learning plans and regular career development discussions
- Additional $200 payment per completed assessment
