Paediatric Occupational Therapist | Clinic-based + Strong MDT Support

Springfield, Queensland

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Our client is an established paediatric allied health provider based in Springfield supporting children and families through a predominantly clinic-based therapy model, with flexibility for community appointments.

The growing multidisciplinary team brings together Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapy, Dietetics and education professionals, creating a collaborative environment where clinicians can share knowledge and support children's development across different areas of care.

Why this Role?

This position would suit an OT who enjoys paediatric therapy but also wants the flexibility to work in a way that supports their clinical interests, professional development and work-life balance.

You will have access to:

  • Established paediatric caseload: Strong referral demand and an existing client base
  • Earn from $80,000 to $115,000 + super!
  • Flexible service delivery: A predominantly clinic-based model with opportunities for additional community appointments
  • Regular OT supervision: External Occupational Therapy supervision tailored to experience
  • Weekly supervision: Available for clinicians with less than 2 years' experience
  • Fortnightly supervision: Generally provided for clinicians with 2 to 5 years' experience
  • Multidisciplinary support: Work alongside 3 Speech Pathologists, another full-time OT, a Physiotherapist, Dietitian and 5 education professionals
  • Allocated administration time: Dedicated time for reporting and other clinical responsibilities
  • Professional development: Regular clinical meetings, shared learning and education opportunities
  • Flexible employment: Full-time and part-time arrangements considered
  • Growing service: Opportunity to be part of an established provider expanding its clinic network
  • Internal multidisciplinary learning and professional development opportunities
  • Balanced appointment expectations with allocated reporting time
With strong referral demand and plans to expand into a second clinic in the Ipswich region, the team is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who values clinical autonomy, regular supervision and the opportunity to shape their caseload around their interests and preferred way of working.

About the Role:

This is a paediatric Occupational Therapist position supporting children and families across Springfield and surrounding communities.

The service offers a flexible clinic and community-based model, with workloads structured around individual clinician preferences wherever possible.

Your week may include:
  • Paediatric assessments, therapy and ongoing intervention
  • Clinic-based appointments from the Springfield practice
  • Home, school and community visits depending on caseload preferences
  • Working alongside Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, a Dietitian and education professionals
  • Supporting children and families to work towards meaningful developmental and functional goals
  • A balanced caseload with approximately 5 appointments per clinic day
  • Dedicated time allocated for reports, clinical documentation and non-client-facing responsibilities
  • Full-time or part-time employment options
The team takes a flexible approach to caseload planning, allowing clinicians to have input into their clinic and community split rather than following a rigid service delivery model.

About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Current Australian working rights
If you are looking for a paediatric OT role where flexibility, clinical supervision and multidisciplinary support are genuinely part of the working environment, this is worth a conversation.
