Description

Our client is a well-established paediatric Occupational Therapy provider based in Hornsby, supporting children and families across a predominantly clinic-based model with school, home and community visits as required.

The team consists of five Occupational Therapists supported by experienced clinical leaders who have built a strong reputation for mentoring clinicians at every stage of their career. With around 95% of the caseload focused on paediatrics, you'll work with children aged approximately 3 to 14 years, primarily supporting neurodivergent children and those accessing NDIS-funded services.

Whether you're a new graduate or have a couple years experience, you'll receive the support needed to develop confidence while maintaining increasing clinical autonomy.

About the Role

You'll work across a hybrid service model, with the majority of your week based in the Hornsby clinic alongside visits to nearby schools, homes and community settings.

Your role includes:

  • Paediatric caseload primarily aged 3 to 14 years
  • Children with autism, developmental delay, sensory processing differences and other disabilities
  • Clinic-based therapy with local school, home and community visits
  • Opportunities to develop skills in Functional Capacity Assessments and Home Modification reports
  • Structured support while progressing towards greater clinical autonomy
  • Full-time position with a gradual caseload build over approximately three months
  • Receive support from the Principal Occupational Therapist and Team Leader
Why this Role
  • Structured mentoring from experienced paediatric Occupational Therapists
  • Dedicated Team Leader and Principal OT providing regular clinical supervision
  • New graduates welcomed with a genuine handholding approach from day one
  • Gradual three-month caseload build so you can develop confidence before reaching full capacity
  • Weekly support while developing skills in Functional Capacity Assessments and Home Modifications
  • AI-powered clinical mentoring tools to support learning between supervision sessions
  • Collaborative team of five Occupational Therapists with a mix of junior and senior clinicians
  • Balanced KPI expectations with a target of just 20 billable hours per week
  • Performance bonuses available once you're confidently exceeding billable targets
About You
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration (or eligible as a new graduate)
  • Passion for working with paediatric clients
  • Current Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
Salary & Benefits
  • New graduates from $79,000 + Super, with salary tailored to experience
  • Performance commission of 20% to 25% for billings above target
  • $1,000 annual Professional Development allowance following probation
  • $70 per month mobile phone allowance
  • Comprehensive mentoring from experienced clinical leaders
  • Structured supervision and career development
  • Gradual three-month caseload build
  • Sponsorship opportunities available for eligible clinicians
What's on Offer

If you're looking for a paediatric Occupational Therapy role where mentoring is genuinely embedded into daily practice, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your clinical confidence while working with an experienced and supportive team.

Whether you're starting your career or looking to strengthen your paediatric expertise, you'll be joining a practice that invests heavily in clinician development while encouraging increasing independence as your skills grow.
