Paediatric Occupational Therapist | Kellyville | High Support & Mentoring

Kellyville, New South Wales

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

This role in Kellyville is within a well-established paediatric OT service focused on properly supporting their clinicians to build their career. The clinical model is highly supportive, with 1:1 and group supervision, mentoring from senior clinicians, regular internal PD, and a generous PD allowance. The clinic itself is purpose-built and play-based, creating an engaging environment for child-focused therapy.

The team is values-driven, with a strong emphasis on connection, play, and making a meaningful difference for children and families. Therapists are supported through structured onboarding, consistent supervision, and tailored career pathways, with a clear focus on cultural fit and long-term development.

Why this is for you!

  • Primarily clinic-based paediatric OT position, with some work across schools and preschools
  • Salary up to $115k super (depending on experience)
  • Join an established paediatric service with consistent referrals and strong systems
  • Be part of a broader OT team with accessible senior support
  • Weekly individual supervision plus weekly group supervision
  • Structured onboarding with a gradual increase in caseload
  • Shadowing and observation time included as part of the induction process
  • $1,500 annual professional development allowance
  • Ongoing internal training, mentoring and case-based learning opportunities
  • Genuine scope to shape your career based on your interests and strengths
  • Extra onboarding support alongside formal clinical supervision
  • Well-resourced clinic setting with quality therapy spaces and equipment
  • Positive team culture with strong staff retention
  • Values-led service with a big focus on connection, play and meaningful impact
The day to day:
  • Deliver paediatric occupational therapy assessment and intervention for children with a range of developmental, sensory, motor and regulation needs
  • Work mainly from the clinic, with some sessions in educational settings
  • Support children with presentations including autism, ADHD / ADD, sensory processing differences, fine motor and gross motor delays, coordination challenges, motor planning difficulties, handwriting difficulties, emotional regulation needs and daily living skill development
  • Complete assessments, goal planning, intervention planning and report writing
  • Partner closely with parents and caregivers, with a strong emphasis on practical support and coaching
  • Provide therapy that is engaging, child-centred and focused on real-world outcomes
  • Contribute within a service that may also offer group-based support, dyad sessions and telehealth where clinically suitable
This is a team with a clear support model in place. Therapists receive weekly 1:1 supervision, weekly group supervision, internal mentoring and regular opportunities to keep building their clinical skills.

There is also a strong focus on career development that is tailored rather than rigid. Our client looks at each clinician’s strengths, interests and longer-term goals, then works with them to build out opportunities in the right direction. That may include leadership, mentoring, projects, onboarding support or further development in niche clinical areas.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Paediatric OT experience preferred
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Driver’s licence
