heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Our client is an established multidisciplinary health and allied health practice based near Tingalpa, Brisbane, supporting children and families across the Bayside and surrounding eastern suburbs.

The practice brings together approximately 45 practitioners across medicine, allied health and complementary therapies, including GPs, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Physiotherapists. The paediatric team operates as a dedicated service within the broader practice, with a strong focus on collaborative care, clinical support and positive outcomes for children and families.

Why this Role:

  • Established OT team: Work alongside three OTs within a dedicated paediatric service
  • Salary from $80,000 (New Grad) to $115,000 + super, depending on experience
  • Multidisciplinary support: Collaborate with other OTs, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, GPs and other allied health practitioners on site
  • On-site sensory gym: Access a dedicated sensory therapy space to support paediatric intervention
  • Clinical mentoring: Opportunity to contribute to supervision and mentoring while maintaining your own caseload
  • Professional development: $1,000 annual external PD allowance
  • Established referral network: Access to a large on-site practitioner base and local school relationships
  • Balanced clinical structure: Patient numbers generally structured around five clients per day, subject to the agreed remuneration model
  • Flexible working arrangements: Part-time opportunities with a contracting model available
  • Earning potential: Service agreement arrangements may offer greater earning potential depending on caseload and billings
  • Team-focused culture: A warm, compassionate environment with a strong emphasis on patient care and multidisciplinary collaboration
About the Role:

This is a paediatric-focused Occupational Therapist opportunity combining hands-on clinical work with the potential to take on mentoring and supervision responsibilities.

You will work alongside an existing team of three Occupational Therapists, supported by a broader multidisciplinary practice and an established GP referral network.

Your week may include:
  • Clinic-based paediatric assessment and intervention
  • Supporting children with developmental, sensory and functional participation needs
  • School-based therapy through existing local school relationships
  • Access to an on-site sensory gym for paediatric therapy sessions
  • Working alongside Speech Pathologists, paediatric Psychologists and other allied health clinicians
  • Maintaining your own paediatric caseload while contributing to clinical mentoring and supervision
  • Potential to allocate approximately half a day per week to supporting other OTs
  • Flexible part-time arrangements, with days and hours to be discussed
The role is primarily clinic-based in Manly West, with some local school-based work. The clinical structure generally works around approximately five clients per day, depending on the agreed working arrangement.

About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one before commencing
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
If you are an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking for an established clinic where you can continue working with children while supporting the development of other clinicians, this opportunity is worth a conversation.
You will be joining a connected multidisciplinary environment with dedicated paediatric facilities, an established referral network and scope to shape your clinical and mentoring responsibilities.
