Paediatric Occupational Therapist | No Billable Targets | Senior OT Support

Bankstown, New South Wales

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Our client is a well-established paediatric allied health provider that has been supporting children and families for more than 20 years. Operating within a multidisciplinary model, the team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Dietitians, with strong referral pathways and established relationships across the local community.

Based in Bankstown, the clinic supports predominantly paediatric NDIS participants, alongside a smaller number of privately funded clients. The team has a great reputation and is known for its collaborative culture, long staff tenure and strong clinical support systems. Therapists also receive direct access to a network of paediatricians for consultation when needed.

About the Role

This is a paediatric Occupational Therapist position within a hybrid clinic and community-based model.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting predominantly paediatric NDIS participants across a range of developmental and functional goals
  • Delivering therapy across clinic, home and community environments
  • Access to purpose-built therapy spaces including sensory areas and gym facilities
  • Flexible balance between clinic-based and mobile work
  • No KPIs or billable targets - instead focusing on communication and quality of service to clients
  • Full administrative support, allowing therapists to focus entirely on clinical work
You will work alongside two Senior Occupational Therapists within the clinic and have access to both formal and informal supervision as required.

Why this role
  • No billable hour targets or productivity KPIs
  • Performance expectations focused on communication, professionalism and timely clinical practice
  • Biweekly clinical reviews focused on goal setting, session planning and clinical development
  • Informal shadowing and mentoring available from experienced clinicians
  • Senior therapists available for real-time support with complex sessions
  • Uncapped professional development support
  • Access to a large library of clinical resources and assessment tools
  • Multidisciplinary meetings every 6 to 8 weeks
  • Direct access to paediatricians for complex clinical discussions
  • Hybrid clinic and community model offering variety and flexibility
  • Established provider with strong referral demand and long-standing community reputation
  • Stable team with strong staff retention and experienced leadership support
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
  • Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Experience or interest in paediatric Occupational Therapy
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
Salary & Benefits
  • $85,000 - $115,000 Super
  • Full administrative support
  • Formal and informal clinical supervision
  • Direct access to senior Occupational Therapists
  • Flexible hybrid clinic and community-based work model
  • Access to sensory spaces, gym facilities and extensive clinical resources
If you are looking for a paediatric OT role where support is genuinely embedded into daily practice, where clinicians join and stay, this is worth a conversation.

You will join an experienced multidisciplinary team with direct access to senior clinicians, paediatricians and a broad range of learning opportunities. With no billable hour targets, strong referral demand and uncapped PD, the focus remains firmly on delivering quality therapy and developing your clinical skills.
