Our client is a well-established paediatric allied health provider in Newcastle, recognised for delivering high-quality therapy while investing heavily in the growth of their clinicians.

About the Role
This is primarily a clinic-based paediatric Occupational Therapist position supporting children with a broad range of developmental needs, with some sessions delivered across schools and preschools.
Your role will include:
- Deliver paediatric Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention
- Support children with autism, ADHD/ADD, sensory processing differences, developmental delay, motor planning challenges, handwriting difficulties, emotional regulation needs and daily living skills
- Complete assessments, goal setting, intervention planning and clinical reports
- Partner closely with parents and caregivers through practical coaching and education
- Deliver engaging, child-centred therapy focused on meaningful everyday outcomes
- Work mainly within the purpose-built clinic, with some visits to schools and preschools
- Opportunity to contribute to group programs, dyad sessions and telehealth where clinically appropriate
- Structured onboarding with a gradual increase in caseload and dedicated induction support
- Weekly individual supervision plus weekly group supervision
- Dedicated senior mentoring, shadowing and observation throughout onboarding
- Structured induction with gradual caseload progression
- $1,500 annual professional development allowance
- Regular internal PD, mentoring and case-based learning

- Strong referral demand providing a balanced and varied paediatric caseload

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Experience or a strong interest in paediatric Occupational Therapy
- Full Australian working rights
- Current driver's licence and vehicle
- $85,000 to $115,000 super
- $1,500 annual professional development allowance
- Weekly or fortnightly 1:1 supervision
- Weekly group supervision
- Structured onboarding with shadowing and mentoring
