Berkeley Vale, New South Wales

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Our client is an established clinic-based Speech Pathology provider on the Central Coast, supporting predominantly preschool and early primary school-aged children through NDIS and Medicare-funded services. The team has built a strong reputation for delivering evidence-based intervention for children with complex communication needs, including minimally speaking children and paediatric feeding.

With a collaborative team of experienced Speech Pathologists, clinicians are encouraged to develop specialist skills through structured supervision, regular professional development and gradual exposure to increasingly complex presentations. The clinic is intentionally centred around clinic-based therapy, allowing clinicians to deliver high-quality intervention in a well-supported environment.

About the Role

This is a predominantly clinic-based Speech Pathologist position supporting children with communication, language, feeding and mealtime needs.

Your role will include:

  • Predominantly paediatric caseload with occasional adult mealtime management clients
  • NDIS and Medicare-funded clients
  • Strong focus on preschool and early primary school-aged children
  • Exposure to minimally speaking children, complex communication presentations and paediatric feeding
  • Clinic-based therapy model
  • Approximately 3 to 4 face-to-face sessions per day
  • 4 billable hours per day, with protected time for planning, documentation, research and administration
  • Gradual progression into more complex clinical presentations through a structured competency framework
Why this Role

This position has been designed for clinicians who value clinical quality and support.

You will have access to:
  • Fortnightly individual supervision with the Clinical Director
  • Fortnightly face-to-face professional development
  • Ongoing support from three senior Speech Pathologists
  • Structured onboarding with gradually increasing complexity in clients
  • Multiple sessions shadowing before independently managing complex clients
  • Collaborative case discussions within a close-knit clinical team
  • Balanced KPI expectations designed around complex clinical work
  • Annual external professional development budget of $1,500 for full-time clinicians
  • Additional funding for specialised training where clinically appropriate
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Current Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia, or eligibility to obtain it
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
  • Interest or experience working with paediatric clients
  • Interest in developing skills in complex communication and/or paediatric feeding
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary of $85,000 - $115,000 + Super
  • Annual external PD budget of $1,500
  • Additional funding for any relevant specialised clinical training
  • Fortnightly individual supervision
  • Fortnightly face-to-face professional development
  • Structured competency and mentoring program
  • Collaborative team of experienced Speech Pathologists
  • Balanced billable expectations with protected clinical administration time
What’s on Offer

If you are looking for a Speech Pathology role where supervision, mentoring and clinical excellence are prioritised over high billable targets, this is well worth a conversation.

You will join a highly supportive team with genuine opportunities to build expertise in paediatric feeding, minimally speaking children and complex communication while developing at a pace that matches your experience.
