heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer: Join a large well-established Aged Care Provider overseeing the Quality and Compliance functions across multiple Nursing Homes.

Description

Quality & Compliance Officer

A well-established, family-owned residential aged care provider in Pymble is seeking an experienced and clinically capable Quality & Compliance Officer to join the team and play a key role in strengthening quality, compliance and clinical governance across its residential aged care homes.

If you are experienced in residential aged care, confident working across quality and compliance, and comfortable engaging with people at all levels, this role offers the chance to make a genuine impact while continuing to develop your career within a long-established NSW aged care provider.

About the Role

As a key member of the Quality and Compliance team, you will monitor, audit and strengthen quality and compliance across the residential aged care homes.
This role combines quality assurance, regulatory compliance, clinical governance, complaints management and continuous improvement within a hands-on, multi-site environment.
You will conduct both desktop and onsite audits, identify compliance gaps, support corrective actions and provide practical guidance to operational teams. You will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, staff education, risk management, incident oversight and the ongoing development of the Clinical Governance Framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct desktop and onsite audits of services, systems and documentation across Care homes
  • Identify compliance gaps and work collaboratively with operational teams to implement corrective actions and improvement plans
  • Monitor audit recommendations, quality indicators, incidents and complaints to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Support complaints management, including gathering information, conducting interviews, documenting investigations and assisting with Commission complaints
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures and the Clinical Governance Framework, while facilitating quality meetings, workshops and continuous improvement discussions
About You

You are an analytical, practical and highly accountable professional who genuinely cares about improving outcomes for residents, families and the teams who support them.
You will also bring:
  • Full unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Extensive experience in residential aged care, with a strong understanding of aged care regulatory requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration and a current National Police Certificate
  • Demonstrated experience conducting audits and supporting corrective action, quality improvement and compliance processes in league with the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Experience with quality management systems and compliance software, together with the ability and willingness to travel across Care homes for onsite support
What's on Offer
  • Opportunity to join an award-winning, family-owned aged care provider with five decades of experience across NSW
  • Work closely with experienced operational leaders and the corporate team
  • Supportive, collaborative and caring team culture
  • Opportunity to contribute across quality, compliance, risk and clinical governance
  • Career progression and leadership development opportunities
  • Free onsite parking at the Pymble Head Office and Health Care homes
  • Meaningful work where you can directly contribute to safe, high-quality care and continuous improvement

About E4 People

E4 People has been a specialist healthcare recruitment partner since 2012. Over the past decade we have built deep relationships across aged care, allied health, and hospital settings throughout Australia. When you work with us, you get more than a single job opening. You get a recruiter who understands the sector, knows the leadership teams, and can talk honestly about culture, career pathways and where your skills will be valued.
What this looks like in practice:
  • A dedicated consultant who works with you on your career, not just this role
  • Honest market insight on salary, growth, and where the sector is moving
  • Discreet, professional handling at every stage. We do not share your details without permission
  • Ongoing support post placement, because the right fit matters longer than the offer date
We are proud that many of the candidates we place return to us years later for their next career move. That is the standard we aim for on every search.

Ready to Make an Impact?

If you are passionate about quality, compliance and safe resident care, thrive in a hands-on, multi-site aged care environment, and want to contribute to continuous improvement across an established residential aged care provider, we would love to hear from you.
