We’re seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality and compliance across a well-supported aged care service in Bayswater. Working closely with clinical leaders and home management, this role focuses on strengthening quality systems, driving compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for someone who thrives on improving systems, supporting teams, and making a meaningful impact on care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee internal audits, compliance reviews, and care quality assessments
- Monitor and report on key clinical and quality indicators (e.g. incidents, complaints, medication management)
- Identify risk areas and lead the development of continuous improvement plans
- Ensure documentation and practices align with Aged Care Quality Standards and governance frameworks
- Educate and support staff in best practice around compliance and care delivery
- Collaborate with leadership and care teams to embed a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Update and review organisational policies in line with evolving regulatory requirements
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA Registration (Essential)
- Proven experience in quality, risk, or clinical governance within aged care or health services (essential)
- Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and sector compliance
- Experience in audits, data collection, and reporting
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience supporting and educating teams in quality systems
