Whats on Offer: $160,000 - 170,000 Super
Description
- Senior leadership position with direct Executive Team exposure
- Opportunity to influence quality outcomes across a growing aged care organisation
- Competitive salary package of $160,000–$170,000 Super
- Collaborative and supportive leadership environment
- Opportunity to shape quality strategy and drive meaningful improvement
- Long-term career development opportunities
- Flexibility with start & finish times as well as the opportunity to work from home once established within your role
- A leading residential aged care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to step into a senior Quality Manager position, partnering closely with the Executive Team to drive quality, governance, and continuous improvement across their aged care operations.
- This is a strategic opportunity for a clinically strong leader who understands the complexities of residential aged care and can bridge the gap between site-level operations and executive leadership.
- You will play a key role in strengthening quality frameworks, embedding best practice clinical governance, and supporting leaders across multiple services to achieve exceptional resident outcomes, compliance standards, and operational excellence.
- This role will suit someone who is naturally curious, analytical, and passionate about understanding the bigger picture — someone who looks beyond the surface, investigates further, and works to identify the root cause behind challenges to create meaningful improvement.
Reporting directly into the Executive Team, you will act as a key conduit between residential aged care homes and senior leadership, providing strategic oversight, quality expertise, and clinical governance support.
Working collaboratively with Facility Managers, clinical leaders, and operational teams, you will identify opportunities for improvement, investigate trends and risks, and ensure quality systems are embedded across the organisation.
This is not a traditional site-based quality role. It provides the opportunity to influence outcomes across multiple services, support leaders, and shape quality strategy at an organisational level.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across quality, clinical governance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with Executive Leadership, Facility Managers, and clinical teams to embed best practice care models
- Conduct quality reviews, audits, and assessments across residential aged care services
- Investigate incidents, risks, and trends to identify root causes and develop sustainable improvement strategies
- Review clinical data, quality indicators, and reporting insights to drive proactive improvements
- Support accreditation readiness and ensure alignment with the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead investigations, improvement plans, and corrective actions to strengthen resident outcomes
- Develop and enhance quality systems, frameworks, policies, and processes
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to senior clinical and operational leaders
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams on clinical risk, governance, and compliance matters
- Drive a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement across services
You are a senior aged care quality leader with strong clinical foundations and a genuine passion for improving care outcomes across an organisation.
You will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Extensive experience within residential aged care
- Proven experience in quality, clinical governance, compliance, or senior quality roles
- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience leading audits, accreditation processes, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- A naturally inquisitive mindset with the ability to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and uncover root causes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, interpret data, and translate insights into practical outcomes
- Confidence influencing Executive Teams, Facility Managers, and clinical leaders
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach focused on prevention, improvement, and sustainable change
- Senior leadership position with direct Executive Team exposure
- Opportunity to influence quality outcomes across a growing aged care organisation
- Competitive salary package of $160,000–$170,000 Super
- Collaborative and supportive leadership environment
- Opportunity to shape quality strategy and drive meaningful improvement
- Long-term career development opportunities
- Flexibility with start & finish times as well as the opportunity to work from home once established within your role
