The opportunity

E4 People's Allied Health division is growing fast, and we're looking for a Recruitment Consultant to take over a hot 360 permanent desk and grow it further.

You'll inherit a desk that billed $40k in September alone, with an established base of more than 60 clients, including private practices, not-for-profits, community providers and national allied health organisations. You can begin building placements and commission from day one while continuing to grow the desk as your own!

You'll place allied health professionals in permanent roles, backed by an established healthcare recruitment business with the systems, brand and support to help you succeed. As the division grows, so will your billings and your career.

What you'll be doing

● Client management and growth: Take over and deepen relationships with more than 60 existing clients, take detailed job briefs, and become a trusted partner who understands what their teams need.
● Business development: Grow existing accounts and win new ones across private practice, not-for-profit, community and national allied health organisations.
● Industry presence: Represent E4 at industry events, careers expos and university sessions, building our profile with allied health students, graduates and professionals.
● Candidate sourcing and attraction: Write and post compelling job ads, and headhunt active and passive candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn, social media, events and your own network.
● End-to-end recruitment: Screen, interview and shortlist candidates, manage interviews and offers, negotiate salaries, and see every placement through to start date and beyond.
● Desk and pipeline management: Keep an accurate, well-organised database of candidates and clients, and hit the activity and performance KPIs you've agreed with your manager.

What we're looking for
● 1–3 years' experience in recruitment, ideally in an associate, junior or consultant role
● A solid understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process
● A track record in sales, business development or account management
● Confident, warm phone manner and strong written communication
● Comfortable representing a brand at events and networking face to face
● A proactive, commercially minded approach. You'll see the opportunity in an established desk and want to grow it.
● Positive, resilient attitude. You bounce back quickly from a knock-back and keep going.
● Allied health or healthcare recruitment experience is a bonus, but not essential
● Confidence with CRM/ATS systems and openness to new tech, including AI-powered tools
● Working rights: You must be an Australian Citizen, a Permanent Resident, or on a residency pathway.
