Description

A well-established 100-bed residential aged care home in Forster is seeking a compassionate and clinically capable Registered Nurse to join the team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, fully compliant service with an experienced leadership team and strong clinical foundations already in place. Working alongside supportive leaders, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while enjoying excellent work-life balance in a beautiful coastal location.

If you are caring, organised and passionate about aged care, this role offers the opportunity to build a long-term career with a respected for-profit provider.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership on shift while delivering safe, high-quality care to residents.

Working within a strong clinical structure of Facility Manager > Care Manager > Clinical Care Coordinator > Registered Nurses, you will coordinate care, complete clinical assessments, administer medications and support the wider care team to achieve outstanding resident outcomes.

This role combines clinical care, leadership, documentation and resident advocacy within a well-supported environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, person-centred clinical care to residents
  • Administer medications and complete clinical assessments
  • Monitor resident health and escalate changes appropriately
  • Lead and support care staff during each shift
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care plans
  • Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals and families
  • Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives

About You
You are a compassionate, organised and clinically confident Registered Nurse who genuinely enjoys caring for older Australians.
You will also bring:
  • Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
  • Minimum RN Year 2 experience
  • Previous experience working within residential aged care
  • Confidence managing medication rounds and clinical documentation
  • Ability to work permanent part-time rotating shifts
  • Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)

What's on Offer
  • Join a fully compliant and well-established 100-bed aged care home
  • Strong leadership structure with excellent clinical support
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Stable organisation with genuine career progression opportunities
  • Potential relocation assistance (at the discretion of the Regional Manager)
  • Employee wellbeing and benefits program
  • Permanent Part-Time Roster:
    • Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday | 6:30am-3:00pm
    • Week 2: Monday | 2:00pm-10:30pm

What this looks like in practice:
  • A dedicated consultant who works with you on your career, not just this role
  • Honest market insight on salary, career growth and where the sector is moving
  • Discreet, professional handling at every stage. We never share your details without your permission
  • Ongoing support after placement because the right fit matters long after your first day

We are proud that many of the candidates we place return to us years later for their next career move. That's the standard we aim for on every search.
