Description


We are currently partnering with a highly regarded aged care provider to recruit an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join a large, well-supported residential aged care facility on a full-time permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a role with above-industry staffing levels, a genuinely supportive team environment, and strong professional development opportunities.
 
About the role:
Working across mixed shifts (morning, afternoon, and overnight), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents while supporting and guiding care staff.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering excellent clinical care to residents
  • Clinical assessments, care planning, and documentation
  • Working autonomously while contributing positively to the wider team
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, GPs, and external stakeholders
  • Guiding and supporting Assistants in Nursing
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Conducting ACFI assessments
  • Working in line with organisational policies and procedures
 
Essential criteria:
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Sound understanding of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
  • Compassionate, professional, and resident-focused approach
  • Previous experience in aged care and/or hospital settings
