Description

A well-established home care provider is seeking a compassionate and community-focused Registered Nurse to join the team on an initial 2-week contract, with the potential to extend.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a clinically capable, organised and personable Registered Nurse who enjoys building relationships with clients in their own homes. You'll play an important role in supporting older Australians to remain safe, healthy and independent while receiving high-quality clinical care.

If you're looking for a Monday to Friday role with work-life balance and the opportunity to make a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role
As a Community Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical assessments, nursing care and ongoing support to clients living independently in their own homes.
You'll visit approximately four clients per day, travelling between appointments while working closely with the wider home care team to deliver person-centred care.
This role combines clinical assessments, care planning, wound management and client education within a supportive community care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing and clinical assessments.
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care within clients' homes.
  • Develop and review person-centred care plans.
  • Complete accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
  • Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals and family members.
  • Monitor client wellbeing and escalate clinical concerns when required.
  • Educate clients to support independence and self-management.
  • Maintain compliance with professional and organisational standards.

About You

You are a compassionate, organised and highly motivated Registered Nurse who enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients in the community.
You will also bring:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous experience in community, aged care or home care nursing.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently while managing your daily schedule.
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
  • Full Australian working rights.

What's on Offer
  • Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Initial 2-week contract with the potential to extend.
  • Supportive and collaborative home care team.
  • Approximately four client visits each day.
  • Opportunity to make a genuine difference in the community.
  • Award rates plus superannuation.
  • Ongoing support throughout your contract.

About E4 People

E4 People has been a specialist healthcare recruitment partner since 2012. Over the past decade we have built deep relationships across aged care, allied health and hospital settings throughout Australia.
When you work with us, you get more than a single job opening. You get a recruiter who understands the sector, knows the providers and can provide honest advice about culture, career progression and where your skills will be valued.

What this looks like in practice:
  • A dedicated consultant who works with you on your career, not just this role.
  • Honest market insight on salary, growth and where the sector is moving.
  • Discreet, professional handling throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ongoing support after placement because the right fit matters long after your first day.
We are proud that many of the candidates we place return to us years later for their next career move.

Ready to Apply?
If you're passionate about community nursing, enjoy working independently and want to help older Australians remain living safely at home, we'd love to hear from you.
To discuss the role further, contact Natasha for a confidential conversation.

We are recruiting across permanent and contract aged care, community and home care roles throughout NSW.
