Description

We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager with a strong background in residential aged care leadership to oversee a well-established service in Toowoomba. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven aged care leader who has successfully managed teams, driven quality outcomes and ideally been involved in facility refurbishments, expansions or significant service improvement projects.
 
With planned growth on the horizon, this role offers the opportunity to lead a service through an important stage of development while continuing to deliver exceptional outcomes for residents, families and staff.
 
About the Role
Reporting to a supportive senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the overall leadership, performance and operations of the facility.
 
You will be responsible for leading a strong team, maintaining high clinical and compliance standards, and supporting the service through its upcoming expansion journey.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Providing overall leadership and direction across the residential aged care service
• Leading, mentoring and developing clinical, care and support teams
• Driving resident-focused care, quality improvement and compliance outcomes
• Preparing for and supporting accreditation processes and audits
• Managing workforce planning, recruitment and retention strategies
• Overseeing budgets, operational performance and service improvements
• Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional resident outcomes
• Supporting refurbishment, expansion or growth initiatives within the facility

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated experience managing a residential aged care facility
• Strong leadership capability across clinical, care and operational teams
• Experience with accreditation, Aged Care Quality Standards and continuous improvement
• Sound understanding of AN-ACC, workforce management and financial performance
• A passion for creating positive resident experiences and strong team cultures
• Experience leading a facility through refurbishments, expansions, redevelopment projects or significant operational change will be highly regarded

• Competitive salary package of $145,000–$150,000 + Super
