A brand-new, hotel-style residential aged care home in Kincumber is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Facility Manager to lead the home during an exciting period of growth and continued development.

Having opened just before Christmas and now fully occupied across three levels, this is a unique opportunity for an experienced aged care leader to take the reins of a modern home built around a different approach to residential aged care. About the Role

As the Facility Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operational, clinical, financial, people and regulatory performance of the home. This role combines operational leadership, clinical oversight, financial management, people leadership and resident experience, with a strong focus on creating a safe, high-quality and relationship-centred home. The home operates under a distinctive model of care designed around resident choice and independence, supported by neighbourhood-based teams and dedicated hospitality functions. Residents are encouraged to determine how they spend their day — from choosing when they wake and eat through to participating in community activities — creating a genuine shift away from traditional institutional models of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and accountability for the safe, effective and financially sustainable operation of the home
• Lead and develop the Clinical Managers, Hospitality Manager, Home Administrator and wider leadership team
• Drive occupancy, AN-ACC outcomes, expenditure, labour costs and broader financial performance in line with agreed targets
• Build a high-performing culture through clear expectations, coaching, feedback, performance management and professional development
• Champion the home's resident-directed model of care, ensuring choice, independence and community connection are embedded into everyday practice

• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA and a relevant nursing/healthcare qualification
• Significant experience managing a residential aged care home
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams across clinical, hospitality and support functions
• Demonstrated understanding of budgets, labour costs, revenue, expenditure and broader business performance

• $170,000 base + Superannuation + Salary Packaging
• 5 weeks annual leave
• Leadership of a brand-new, hotel-style 100-bed residential aged care home
• Strong leadership structure with three Clinical Managers and a Dedicated Hospitality Manager overseeing kitchen, laundry and cleaning services and Shift Manager responsible for rostering and workforce coordination
• Two RNs on night shifts, with Care Companions trained in medication support
• High-quality, fresh food prepared in-house and served through the home's restaurant and a popular café located within the home
