We're partnering with a respected aged care provider to recruit an experienced Roster Coordinator for a large residential aged care home in Coolangatta.
You'll work closely with the General Manager and wider care team, playing a key role in keeping staffing, administration and essential processes running efficiently.
The Opportunity
As Roster Coordinator, you'll oversee workforce coordination and a range of administrative responsibilities that support the smooth operation of the care home.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage staff rosters, shift replacements, overtime and agency staffing.
- Coordinate shift swaps, leave requests and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy before payroll finalisation.
- Support recruitment processes, including raising requests, coordinating interviews and preparing master rosters.
- Monitor staff compliance, mandatory training and performance review requirements.
- Provide professional and welcoming support to residents, families, staff and visitors.
- Coordinate resident admissions, agreements, documentation and daily movement records.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare documentation and support the General Manager with daily operational requirements.
About You
We're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused professional who enjoys taking ownership and keeping things running smoothly.
You will ideally bring:
- Experience in rostering, workforce coordination, senior administration, office management or a similar role.
- Experience within residential aged care, healthcare or a comparable service environment.
- Strong knowledge of rostering, shift management, payroll coordination or workforce planning.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A relevant Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or equivalent professional experience.
