Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of my client, a well-established residential aged care provider, for an experienced and energetic Care Manager to join their Head Office leadership team supporting 5 residential aged care facilities across Sydney.
This is a unique opportunity for a strong clinical leader who enjoys variety, mentoring teams, driving compliance, and supporting homes operationally where needed. Working across both Head Office and multiple facilities, you will play a key role in strengthening clinical care, supporting accreditation outcomes, and leading teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will work across the provider’s portfolio of homes based on operational needs, supporting clinical teams, mentoring staff, assisting with compliance and audits, and providing hands-on leadership within the facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support facilities in achieving operational and clinical goals
- Assist with accreditation readiness and maintaining compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
- Provide clinical leadership and operational support across the homes
- Mentor, educate, and support clinical and care teams
- Conduct audits, reporting, and continuous improvement activities
- Act as a clinical resource and escalation point for complex care matters
- Lead clinical teams to achieve strong care and operational outcomes
- Provide relieving management support where required
- Travel between the provider’s 5 Sydney-based homes as needed
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within Residential Aged Care
- Previous leadership experience in a Care Manager, Clinical Manager, or similar role
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making ability
- Experience with audits, accreditation, compliance, and quality systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passion for mentoring teams and improving resident outcomes
