Description

Lead Across NSW. Strengthen Services. Make a Lasting Impact.
A well-established not-for-profit aged care provider is seeking an experienced and adaptable Facility Manager to join its Corporate Operations team in a unique roving leadership role across New South Wales.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a resilient, people-focused and operationally strong leader who thrives on variety and enjoys stepping into services where their leadership makes an immediate impact. You'll play a key role supporting Residential Aged Care homes through periods of leave, vacancies, organisational change and service improvement, ensuring residents continue to receive exceptional care every step of the way.
If you are adaptable, collaborative and passionate about aged care leadership, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference while broadening your experience across metropolitan, regional and rural NSW.

About the Role
As the operational leader across multiple Residential Aged Care homes, you will provide experienced leadership wherever support is needed most.
This role combines operational leadership, clinical governance, workforce management and quality improvement within a supportive corporate environment.
Working closely with Regional Operations and Corporate Services, you will provide stability during leadership transitions while maintaining strong resident outcomes, workforce engagement and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Residential Aged Care homes during periods of leave, vacancies and organisational change
  • Support multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional resident-centred care
  • Drive compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements
  • Oversee operational performance, occupancy, budgets and workforce planning
  • Lead accreditation, quality improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees and key stakeholders
  • Mentor leadership teams and foster positive workplace cultures
  • Provide operational stability while strengthening services across multiple homes

About You
You are an adaptable, resilient and highly organised leader who enjoys supporting teams through periods of change.
You will also bring:
  • Previous experience as a Facility Manager, Clinical Care Manager, Regional Manager or similar aged care leadership position
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance
  • Experience managing budgets, occupancy, workforce planning and operational performance
  • Confidence leading accreditation, audits, complaints and service improvement initiatives
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly throughout New South Wales

What's on Offer
  • A unique opportunity to lead across multiple Residential Aged Care services throughout NSW
  • Salary packaging benefits
  • Fully maintained or pool vehicle for approved work-related travel
  • Accommodation provided when working away from home
  • Reimbursement of approved travel expenses
  • Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities
  • Collaborative and supportive leadership environment
  • Meaningful work where you can make a genuine difference across multiple communities

About E4 People
E4 People has been a specialist healthcare recruitment partner since 2012. Over the past decade we have built deep relationships across aged care, allied health, and hospital settings throughout Australia. When you work with us, you get more than a single job opening. You get a recruiter who understands the sector, knows the leadership teams, and can talk honestly about culture, career pathways and where your skills will be valued.

What this looks like in practice:
  • A dedicated consultant who works with you on your career, not just this role
  • Honest market insight on salary, growth, and where the sector is moving
  • Discreet, professional handling at every stage. We do not share your details without permission
  • Ongoing support post placement, because the right fit matters longer than the offer date
We are proud that many of the candidates we place return to us years later for their next career move. That is the standard we aim for on every search.
