Details
Work Type: Permanent
Salary Range: $100,001 - $120,000
Whats on Offer:
Description
Our client has spent more than 25 years building one of Brisbane's most respected multidisciplinary allied health practices, earning a strong reputation for collaborative care, clinical excellence and long-term relationships with families. Now they're entering their next stage of growth.
With an established Occupational Therapy team, a large Speech Pathology department and dedicated operational support behind the scenes, they're investing in expanding adult and aged care services. This is an opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist who wants more than a full diary. It's a chance to influence how a new service is designed, developed and delivered.
About the Role:
This role combines senior clinical practice with genuine service development.
While you'll maintain your own caseload, you'll also become the clinical driver behind the expansion of adult and aged care Occupational Therapy services, working alongside the leadership team, Business Development Manager and Marketing Coordinator to establish referral pathways and grow the service.
Your role will include:
- Developing an adult and aged care Occupational Therapy service from an established multidisciplinary platform
- Building relationships with referrers, GPs, aged care providers and community organisations
- Delivering predominantly clinic-based therapy with some community visits
- Working across NDIS, Medicare, private health and privately funded clients
- Providing supervision and clinical guidance to Occupational Therapists as the team continues to grow
- Collaborating closely with Speech Pathologists, Music Therapists and Allied Health Assistants
- 50-minute appointments with protected administration time built into every session
- Flexibility to complete reports and non face-to-face work from home
Most senior OT roles ask you to inherit a caseload.
This one asks you to build a service.
You'll have the support of an established multidisciplinary practice without the pressure of starting from scratch. Existing infrastructure, administration, marketing, business development and clinical leadership are already in place, allowing you to focus on shaping a service that reflects best practice.
You'll also benefit from:
- Salary of $110,000 to $125,000 Super
- Genuine influence over the direction of adult and aged care services
- Dedicated Clinical Supervisor and separate Line Manager
- Fortnightly individual supervision and multidisciplinary peer learning
- Leadership pathway as the Occupational Therapy division continues to expand
- Dedicated Client Care Team managing bookings, invoicing and administration
- Strong referral demand and an established brand within the local community
- Collaborative multidisciplinary culture where knowledge sharing is part of everyday practice rather than an afterthought
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated experience working with adult and/or aged care clients
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring clinicians
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Salary of $110,000 to $125,000 Super
- Flexible work from home for reports and administration
- Structured supervision and leadership support
- Dedicated administrative team
- Regular professional development and multidisciplinary learning
- Opportunity to shape and grow a new clinical service
- Career progression as the Occupational Therapy division expands
This role is ideal for an experienced Occupational Therapist who still enjoys clinical work but is ready for greater influence.
You'll have the opportunity to help establish a growing adult and aged care service within an organisation that already has the people, reputation and infrastructure to support long-term success, while continuing to work alongside a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team.
