Speech Pathologist | Clinic & Community | Tailored Caseload

Eagleby, Queensland

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer: Speech Pathologist role in Eagleby with mixed NDIS caseload, clinic/community work, supervision, PD and flexible clinical interests.

Description

Are you a Speech Pathologist looking for a role where you can work across a varied NDIS caseload, feel supported by a multidisciplinary team and have flexibility in the way your week is structured?

This is an opportunity to join a growing allied health provider in Eagleby, supporting clients across clinic-based, home, community and telehealth settings.

You will work with a diverse range of NDIS participants, with the opportunity to support children, adolescents, adults and older clients across communication, language, speech, social skills, swallowing, literacy, AAC and functional communication goals.

The role would suit a Speech Pathologist who enjoys variety, values collaboration and wants the opportunity to shape their caseload around their clinical strengths and interests.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Salary ranging from $90,000 - $115,000 super
  • Based from a clinic in Eagleby, supporting clients across the local community
  • Mixed NDIS Speech Pathology caseload across paediatrics, adults and older clients
  • Opportunity to tailor your caseload toward your preferred clinical areas
  • Work across clinic, home, community and telehealth settings
  • Multidisciplinary team across Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy
  • Fleet vehicles available for community visits
  • $2,000 annual professional development allowance
  • 4 days CPD leave per year
  • Regular clinical supervision and support from senior clinicians
  • Suitable for early-career, experienced or senior Speech Pathologists
  • Senior clinicians may have scope to mentor and support junior team members
  • Friday team connection time, including case discussions, team meetings and discipline catch-ups
  • Incentive program available for clinicians exceeding billable expectations
About the Role:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide assessment, therapy and intervention for NDIS participants across both clinic and community environments.

You will support clients with a wide range of communication and swallowing needs, with caseload areas potentially including:
  • Early language development
  • Speech sound disorders
  • Receptive and expressive language
  • Autism and developmental delay
  • Social communication
  • Literacy and phonological awareness
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication, AAC
  • Dysphagia and mealtime management, depending on your experience
  • Functional communication
  • Parent, carer and support worker education
  • NDIS reporting and goal-based therapy planning
Your caseload can be built around your experience and interests where possible. Whether you prefer paediatrics, adult disability, AAC, complex communication, dysphagia or a broader mixed caseload, there is flexibility to align the role with your clinical direction.

You will be part of a collaborative allied health team where clinicians are encouraged to share ideas, discuss cases and work together around client outcomes. The team includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, giving you the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines while still having access to Speech Pathology-specific support.

The team also comes together on Fridays for team connection, case discussions, meetings, updates and discipline-specific catch-ups.

About You:

You will be a qualified Speech Pathologist who enjoys working with NDIS participants and wants to be part of a supportive allied health team.

You may be early in your career and looking for strong supervision, or you may be an experienced Speech Pathologist wanting more autonomy, variety and the chance to mentor others.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • SPA membership or eligibility
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Driver’s licence
  • Comfortable working across clinic and community settings
  • NDIS experience highly regarded, but not essential
  • Dysphagia experience highly regarded, but not essential
