Speech Pathologist | Mobile | Travel Capped 30 Mins

Darra, Queensland

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Are you a Speech Pathologist looking for a flexible mobile role where your travel is genuinely manageable, your caseload can be shaped around your interests and you are supported by a collaborative allied health team?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing community-based allied health provider, supporting children, adolescents, adults and families across their natural environments.

This is a purely mobile Speech Pathology role, with travel capped at 30 minutes from your home. Your diary is built around realistic location-based scheduling, helping you maintain structure, balance and quality therapy outcomes without excessive travel.

You will work within a fun, supportive and neuro-affirming team, with strong internal training, supervision, admin support and access to a broader multidisciplinary network.

Why You’ll LOVE This Role

  • Salary from $90,000 - $125,000 super, depending on experience
  • Commission and incentive structure on top of base salary
  • Purely mobile Speech Pathologist role with travel capped at 30 minutes from home
  • Caseload tailored toward your clinical interests where possible
  • Strong paediatric referral demand, with scope to support adolescents and adults
  • Flexible working hours and 4-day week options available
  • Work from home for admin and non-client-facing tasks
  • Neuro-affirming, strengths-based and evidence-based therapy approach
  • Supportive team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and other allied health professionals
  • Access to wider multidisciplinary support through the broader Proactive Health group
  • Internal training, supervision and professional development support
  • Regular check-ins, mentoring and individual progression planning
  • Strong admin and leadership support so you can focus on quality therapy
  • Great fit for early-career, experienced or senior Speech Pathologists
About the Role:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will deliver assessment, therapy and intervention in a mobile and community-based capacity, supporting clients within 30 minutes of your home.

You will see clients in their everyday environments, helping therapy feel practical, functional and relevant to real-life routines.

Your caseload can be shaped around your experience, interests and clinical strengths, with opportunities across:
  • Paediatric Speech Pathology
  • Early intervention
  • Speech and language development
  • Speech sound disorders
  • Receptive and expressive language
  • Social communication
  • Autism and developmental delay
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication, AAC
  • Functional communication
  • Parent, carer and teacher coaching
  • School-based therapy supports
  • Paediatric and adolescent supports
  • Adult communication and disability support, if of interest
  • DVA work, if of interest
This role would suit a Speech Pathologist who enjoys working independently, building strong relationships with families and delivering therapy that fits into a client’s day-to-day life.

The culture is warm, fun and a little quirky, with a strong focus on making mobile therapy sustainable. There is a clear understanding that community roles need to be planned properly, which is why travel is capped and diaries are built around realistic local scheduling.

You will have access to regular mentoring, internal training, check-ins, supervision and referral pathways across a wider allied health network including Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics and Social Work.

Whether you are earlier in your career and looking for support, or an experienced Speech Pathologist wanting autonomy and flexibility, this role offers a strong balance of independence and connection.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • SPA membership or eligibility
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
  • Comfortable working in a mobile or community-based role
  • NDIS or paediatric experience highly regarded, but not essential
