Aspley, Queensland

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $100,001 - $120,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Our client is a growing multidisciplinary allied health provider supporting children, adolescents and adults across Brisbane and South East Queensland. With a team of 18 clinicians and support staff across its broader network, the organisation delivers Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology through a flexible combination of community visits, clinic-based appointments and telehealth.

Why this Role:

This position would suit a Speech Pathologist who enjoys community-based practice but wants genuine clinical support, flexibility and opportunities to develop professionally.

You will have access to:

  • Experienced Speech Pathology supervision: Clinical support from a Speech Pathology Team Lead with 10+ years' experience
  • Salary from: $90,000 to $120,000 + super (depending on experience)
  • Structured onboarding: A comprehensive induction, including a dedicated 12-week development program for new graduates and early-career clinicians
  • Tailored professional development: Individual PD allowances, structured learning pathways and supervision aligned with your clinical interests
  • Flexible working arrangements: Full-time, part-time and 4-day working week options, with hours planned around your commitments
  • Balanced caseload planning: Administration and scheduling support to help align your client mix with your strengths and interests
  • Multidisciplinary support: Work alongside OTs, Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants, with access to a wider allied health network
  • Clear career progression: Individual development plans, regular check-ins and opportunities to progress into senior clinical or mentoring positions
  • Clinical resources: Therapy resource allowance, personal resource kit and an iPad to support your assessments and interventions
  • Transparent KPI expectations: Clear performance targets with additional incentive opportunities
  • Connected team culture: Regular mentoring, internal training, professional events and optional team socials
  • Car allowance to support work-related travel
  • Contractor arrangements available for clinicians seeking an alternative employment structure
  • Regular internal training, mentoring and multidisciplinary learning opportunities
The team takes a strongly neuro-affirming, evidence-based approach to therapy, focusing on each client's strengths, independence and participation in everyday life. You will work alongside Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants, with access to a broader multidisciplinary network and structured clinical support.

About the Role:

This is a predominantly paediatric Speech Pathologist position servicing Aspley and surrounding Brisbane suburbs, with opportunities to work with adolescents and adults depending on your clinical interests.

Your week may include:
  • Speech Pathology assessment and intervention for children with communication, language and developmental support needs
  • Supporting neurodivergent clients and NDIS participants using strengths-based, neuro-affirming approaches
  • Home, school, community and clinic-based therapy appointments
  • Opportunities to develop your skills in AAC, complex disability and neurodiversity-affirming practice
  • A caseload shaped around your experience, clinical interests and preferred client groups where possible
  • Flexible scheduling across full-time or part-time hours, including 4-day working week options
  • Telehealth and administrative flexibility around your community appointments
You will have access to experienced Speech Pathology leadership, including a Team Lead with over 10 years' experience across complex disability, neurodiversity and AAC assessment and prescription.

For clinicians considering a move into community practice, there is also an opportunity to arrange a ride-along with a senior Speech Pathologist before making a decision.

About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Current Speech Pathology Australia membership or eligibility for membership
  • Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle for community appointments
  • Valid Australian working rights
If you're looking for a Speech Pathology role where clinical development, flexibility and clinician wellbeing are genuinely prioritised, this is worth a conversation.

About E4 People:

E4 People has been a specialist healthcare recruitment partner since 2012. Over the past decade, we have built deep relationships across allied health, aged care and hospital settings throughout Australia.

When you work with us, you get more than a single job opening. You get a recruiter who understands the sector, knows the leadership teams, and can talk honestly about culture, career pathways and where your skills will be valued.

What this looks like in practice:
  • A dedicated consultant who works with you on your career, not just this role
  • Honest market insight on salary, growth and where the sector is moving
  • Discreet, professional handling at every stage
  • We do not share your details without permission
  • Ongoing support post-placement, because the right fit matters longer than the offer date
If this sounds like the right environment for the next stage of your clinical career, we would love to hear from you.
