Moorooka, Queensland

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $100,001 - $120,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Our client is a growing multidisciplinary allied health provider supporting children, adolescents and adults across community, clinic and telehealth settings in South East Queensland.

The team includes Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists, with access to a broader multidisciplinary network including Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Social Workers. Therapy is grounded in a neuro-affirming, evidence-based and strengths-focused approach, with clinicians working alongside clients and families to build confidence, independence and practical skills for everyday life.

Our client has grown to approximately 18 clinicians and support staff across its broader footprint, with strong referral demand and continued growth planned. Flexibility, clinician wellbeing and individual career development are central to the way the team operates.

About the Role:

This is a community-based Speech Pathology role with flexibility to build either a predominantly paediatric or mixed caseload depending on your experience and clinical interests.

Your week may include:

  • Supporting children, adolescents and adults across NDIS, private and other referral pathways
  • Therapy delivered across homes, schools, community settings and shared clinic locations
  • Telehealth where clinically appropriate
  • A neuro-affirming, strengths-based approach focused on participation, independence and practical everyday outcomes
  • Community travel structured around your local caseload, with travel capped at approximately 30 minutes
  • Flexible hours and the option to discuss a 4-day working week
  • Access to clinic space alongside the broader community-based model
  • Internal supervision, mentoring and professional development support
Why this Role:

This role would suit a Speech Pathologist who enjoys autonomy but still wants access to a connected clinical team and multidisciplinary support.

You will have access to:
  • Flexibility to shape a paediatric or mixed caseload around your clinical interests
  • A neuro-affirming, evidence-based therapy model
  • Travel capped at approximately 30 minutes to support a more sustainable community schedule
  • Flexible hours and 4-day week options
  • Hybrid community, clinic and telehealth delivery
  • Internal supervision and mentoring
  • Professional development allowance and internal training opportunities
  • Access to a broader multidisciplinary allied health network
  • Individual career progression planning and regular development check-ins
  • Incentive opportunities in addition to base salary
  • Strong existing referral demand
  • A growing team with opportunities for longer-term clinical and career progression
About You:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Current SPA membership or eligibility for SPA membership
  • Previous Speech Pathology experience, ideally within paediatric, disability or community-based services
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for community appointments
  • Current Australian working rights
Salary & Benefits:
  • Indicative salary of $90,000 to $125,000 + super, tailored to experience
  • Travel allowance paid alongside your salary!
  • Incentive structure in addition to base salary
  • Professional development allowance of $2,000 and access to internal training
  • Clinical supervision and mentoring
  • Flexible working hours
  • 4-day working week options
  • Access to multidisciplinary professional development and clinical networks
  • Regular team and social events
What’s on Offer:

If you enjoy community Speech Pathology but want greater control over your caseload, travel and working week, this role is worth a conversation.

You will have the flexibility to lean into paediatrics or maintain a broader mixed caseload, while working within a neuro-affirming model and staying connected to an established allied health team.

The combination of strong referral demand, flexible delivery and access to multidisciplinary support gives experienced clinicians room to work independently without operating in isolation.

About E4 People:

E4 People has been a specialist healthcare recruitment partner since 2012. Over the past decade, we have built deep relationships across allied health, aged care and hospital settings throughout Australia.

When you work with us, you get more than a single job opening. You get a recruiter who understands the sector, knows the leadership teams, and can talk honestly about culture, career pathways and where your skills will be valued.

What this looks like in practice:
  • A dedicated consultant who works with you on your career, not just this role
  • Honest market insight on salary, growth and where the sector is moving
  • Discreet, professional handling at every stage
  • We do not share your details without permission
  • Ongoing support post-placement, because the right fit matters longer than the offer date
If this sounds like the right environment for the next stage of your clinical career, we would love to hear from you.
