Travel Nursing Contracts – Anaesthetic RN & Scrub/Scout RN (Orthopaedics)
📍 Private Hospital | Rockhampton, Queensland
📅 Start Date: 20 April (Potential to start at later date of 6 May) | Contract: 10–12 weeks (shorter contracts considered)
We are currently seeking two experienced Theatre Registered Nurses for travel contracts at a well-regarded private hospital in Rockhampton.
Two Contract Roles Available:
- Anaesthetic RN
- Scrub/Scout RN – Orthopaedics
This is a great opportunity to work with an experienced theatre team while enjoying everything Central Queensland has to offer.
💰 Pay & Benefits
- Up to $71.50 per hour (base rate) for the right RN
- Penalty rates:
- PM Shift: $82.23 per hour
- Night Shift: $96.53 per hour
- Saturday: $107.25 per hour
- Sunday: $125.13 per hour
- 10–12 week contracts (shorter contracts may be considered)
- Supportive private hospital theatre environment
🩺 Position 1 – Anaesthetic RN
We’re looking for an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse who is confident working within a busy theatre environment.
Requirements:
- Strong anaesthetic theatre experience
- Ability to work effectively with anaesthetists and theatre teams
- Current AHPRA registration
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
🩺 Position 2 – Scrub/Scout RN (Orthopaedics)
We’re seeking an experienced Scrub/Scout Nurse with a strong orthopaedic background.
Requirements:
- Extensive orthopaedic theatre experience
- Experience assisting with joint replacements including hips and knees
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced theatre
- Current AHPRA registration
