Description
The opportunity
E4 People recently launched our Allied Health division, and it's growing quickly. We're looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join the team and play a big part in what comes next.
Joining a division this early means your work has real impact. You'll help expand our allied health talent network and connect allied health professionals with roles that fit their careers. As the division grows, so will you.
No prior recruitment experience is needed. You'll get full training and the backing of an established healthcare recruitment business. What matters is great communication, strong organisation, and the drive to help a growing division succeed.
What you'll be doing
● Growing the talent pool: Source and engage allied health professionals through SEEK, LinkedIn, professional networks, Facebook groups and direct outreach. Expand the candidate network the division is growing from.
● Screening and qualification: Run phone screens and structured interviews to understand candidates' skills, registrations and what they want next. Check qualifications, professional registrations, references and compliance documentation.
● Pipeline management: Keep candidates engaged and informed, including those not ready to move yet. Keep CRM records accurate as the division scales.
● Matching and placement: Learn to match candidates to roles, prepare strong candidate profiles, and support candidates through interviews, offers and onboarding.
● Contributing to growth: Share what you're hearing from the market, suggest better ways of working, and help improve how the division runs.
● Growing with the business: With training and support, take on client relationships, job briefs and your own desk as the division grows.
What we're looking for
● Experience in a phone-based, sales, customer service, hospitality or other customer-facing role
● Confident, warm phone manner and strong written communication
● Ability to build trust quickly and keep people engaged over time
● A proactive, self-starter mindset. You're motivated by growth and by making a visible difference.
● Positive, resilient attitude. You take rejection or a quiet week in your stride and keep going.
● High attention to detail across multiple concurrent tasks
● Interest in allied health or healthcare (a background or connection to the sector is a bonus, but not essential)
● Openness to new tech, including AI-powered tools
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database software
● Working rights: You must be an Australian Citizen, a Permanent Resident, or on a residency pathway. Unfortunately we cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
What we offer
● Be part of the growth story: Join a newly launched division early, with real influence over its success and a career path that grows with it.
● Work-life balance: 20 days annual leave, a quarterly 'wellness day' (take the day off to recharge) and your birthday off. Opportunity to work from home once fully trained.
● Fast-paced, supportive environment: The energy of a growing division, backed by an established team that thrives on collaboration and celebrates success.
● Team spirit: Regular social events and team bonding, from run club to community volunteering and fun social activities.
● Training and development: Full training, plus ongoing support from your team, Division Manager, and Learning & Development Manager.
● Modern office space: Based near Town Hall, Sydney CBD.
Applications
Please apply directly via SEEK. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
This is a Sydney-based role. Applications from candidates based outside Sydney will not be considered.
