Your Responsibilities
E4 People is committed to providing a safe and supportive work environment. In return, we ask all workers to meet the following responsibilities to help keep themselves and others safe.
You are expected to:

Follow site safety rules and comply with all host site policies, procedures, and safety instructions at all times.

Wear and use personal protective equipment as required and report any issues with PPE immediately.

Complete inductions and training and maintain mandatory training and competencies.

Report hazards, incidents, and concerns, speak up early about safety risks, injuries, near misses, or psychosocial concerns.

Look after your own health and wellbeing, present fit for work, manage fatigue and stress, and ask for support when needed.

Treat others with respect and act professionally and respectfully towards patients, residents, colleagues, and communities at all times.
By understanding your rights and meeting these expectations, you help create safer, healthier workplaces for everyone.
What to do immediately
Medical Emergencies
- Call 000 immediately
- Follow the host site emergency procedures
- Notify the host supervisor
- Contact E4 People as soon as it is safe to do so
Aggression or violence
- Remove yourself from immediate danger
- Follow host site procedures for managing aggression
- Seek assistance from site staff or security
- Report the incident to the host and E4 People immediately
Needle Stick or Sharps Injury
